Betty Jane Wylie, (born February 21, 1931) is a Canadian writer and playwright. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1951 and a Master of Arts degree in 1952 from the University of Manitoba. In 2003, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada, Canada's highest civilian honor.
